ACROSS THE INDIAN OCEAN BY ROWING BOAT

In 2027, Aurimas Mockus will embark on a new and extremely challenging expedition — alone, without assistance or stops, he will cross the Indian Ocean in a rowing boat. The planned journey will span more than 10,000 kilometers across one of the harshest and most dangerous oceans in the world. It will be a test of physical capability, mental endurance, and human determination. However, this journey carries a deeper meaning. The expedition “Oars of Hope Across the Indian Ocean” is dedicated to supporting children fighting cancer and their families. During the journey, funds will be raised for the Rimantas Kaukėnas Charity Foundation, which provides daily support to seriously ill children. This mission reminds us that even the greatest oceans can be crossed with small but consistent strokes — just like the greatest battles in life.
